Motorwatchr is a small independent UK business, built for motor traders who buy from private sellers. It isn't owned by or connected to Auto Trader, Gumtree, Facebook or the DVSA.
We gather. You decide.
Finding stock means checking site after site. We bring the private-seller adverts into one place, in one format, with the facts beside each car.

- Private-seller car adverts from Auto Trader, Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace, into one list every morning.
- Match
- The DVSA's MOT history to every car with a registration, and the same car across sites and re-posts.
- Show
- What the advert and the records say, as they say it — with the link back to the advert.
- Compare
- Each asking price against the average of similar adverts we've seen, with the working shown.

Facts, not opinions.
It's cars — money and safety. So we show what we can read, and we don't make things up.
- Judge the car
- No verdicts and no buy or don't-buy advice. The value rating is about price only; flags such as a write-off category or an expired MOT sit beside it and never change its colour.
- Overrule the site
- Where a site labels a seller or a write-off category, we show its label.
- Keep sellers' details
- Names, phone numbers and email addresses are taken out of private sellers' adverts.
- Log in anywhere
- We read public adverts only — no members-only groups or sites.
- Sell cars
- We're not a dealer or a broker. You deal with the seller on the original advert.

Each morning's list picks up new adverts and anything that changed since we last looked. Every car shows when we first saw it, so you can tell how long it's been for sale.
